Casa da Arquitectura’s online birthday programme also includes the youngest, who can access the “Arquistruturas” Workshop for Children and Families on social networks.

Those who choose to visit the Exhibition on-site, can take home a kit from the Take-Away workshop “Paredes Elásticas” for children from 3 to 12 years old. The kit can be picked up free of charge at the ticket office.

There will be some surprises for those who circulate in the Quarter. The contemporary dance performances “De que Forma” by the duo Mafalda Costa and Joana Tomás, which will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and the interactive installation “Throught Midas Eyes”, by the collective Moradavaga, idealized specifically for the celebrations of the 3rd anniversary of Casa da Arquitectura.

“Through Midas’ Eyes” is inspired by the famous myth of King Midas, whose touch turned everything into gold and aims to alter and expand the perception of passers-by in relation to themselves and the surrounding environment, using a set of mobile triangular prisms coated with mirrors golden on one side.
