10th edition of Open House Porto: the call for volunteers is open

The 10th edition of Open House Porto is coming up! On the weekend of 5 and 6 July 2025, the architecture and heritage of the cities of Maia, Matosinhos, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia will once again open their doors to the public. To make this experience unforgettable, we are counting on the dedication and enthusiasm of an extraordinary team of volunteers. Join us!

 

We're looking for volunteers aged 16 and over with an interest in architecture, built heritage and the history of the cities of Maia, Matosinhos, Porto and V. N. Gaia. N. Gaia with a willingness to interact with the public. To ensure the success of each edition, we rely on an extraordinary team of volunteers who welcome visitors and offer useful and informed suggestions about the event.

 

The team of volunteers will have the unique opportunity to get to know the programme in detail and have contact with the organisers, the architects who have designed the spaces on the route, as well as invited experts in different fields: history, heritage, culture, engineering, town planning, etc.

 

We rely on your availability to offer four or more hours during the weekend. In return, we offer you an experience characterised by conviviality, discovery and friendship.

 

The 10th edition of Open House Porto hopes to count on the support of an extraordinary group of more than 350 volunteers, without whom this event would be impossible to organise. Come and experience Open House Porto up close and see this year's programme first hand!
