Casa da Arquitectura - Centro Português de Arquitectura and the Marques da Silva Foundation signed a cooperation protocol yesterday between the two entities in the field of research, appreciation and dissemination of architecture and architects, with the aim of promoting the decisive role of architecture in the development of society and its contribution to people's well-being.

 The Results Presentation of the Sustainable Landscape and Architecture Programme (PPAS) will take place at Casa da Arquitectura on May 28 at 2pm. Launched in November 2023, the programme is part of the National Architecture and Landscape Policy and in the 2023/24 biennium focused on the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education with a set of actions whose results will now be presented.

 Casa da Arquitectura is inviting applications for 10 PhD Research Scholarships in the field of Architecture, Urbanism and Territory, with a special focus on the collections of Casa da Arquitectura - Centro Português de Arquitectura and content related to the history of architecture, building technology, sustainability and energy saving, under the FCT Research Scholarship Regulations (RBI) and the Research Scholarship Holder Statute (EBI).

Casa da Arquitectura and Secil have signed a four-year patronage contract. Secil is a partner of Casa da Arquitectura in supporting the activities carried out by the institution and a patron for the study and research of various areas of knowledge surrounding architecture.

The General Assembly of Casa da Arquitectura Association will be held on 15 March at 10am.

Casa da Arquitectura is one of the 23 entities that are part of the Renewable Energy Community (CER), LIPOR's new and innovative initiative for the recovery of waste and sharing of the electricity produced, which was presented on 11 January at a ceremony held at the Maia Energy Recovery Plant.
