Patronage

When Casa da Arquitectura was founded in 2007, it sought to fulfil the need for an institution that would receive, treat, and make accessible, to different types of audiences, the enormous architectural heritage existing in Portugal.
Since then and to this day, Casa da Arquitectura - Portuguese Centre for Architecture, remains the only institution that, in Portugal, preserves, treats, disseminates, and promotes authors and national architectural production, associating it with its growing archive documentary aspects of cultural programming. Its action involves not only architects, but also people and entities from several cultural and social areas that encourage and sponsor the public interest in architecture and the promotion and development of companies' products and services based on it.
Bearing in mind the interest shown by the target audience of different characteristics and origins in Portuguese architecture, Casa da Arquitectura has been annually promoting a wide programme of transversal promotion activities, around Portuguese architecture, with a marked prominence in the national and international panoramas.
The role of Patrons is essential in the development and affirmation of each and every institution and, therefore, Casa da Arquitectura, as a private non-profit institution, provides the possibility for individuals and companies to collaborate in this project through different Patronage modalities: Casa da Arquitectura Patron, one Space Patron (spaces such as the Archive or the Educational Service), Exhibition Patron, Patron of one or more activities.
The Patrons contribute decisively to the financial harmony of Casa da Arquitectura, which is grateful for the support of all its Patrons, who will be fundamental for the future success of this institution and for the expansion of architectural knowledge in Portugal.
