Casa da Arquitectura, as an entity dedicated to architecture, has as one of its missions the construction of a significant repository of archives of architecture, urbanism and landscaping, national and international, of special interest for the study and understanding of contemporary architecture. In this context, CA is open to receive, through donation, deposit or lending, collections, projects or bibliographic collections.

Donation proposals must be submitted in writing to the Director of Casa da Arquitectura, who will comment on them within three months.
In case the proposal proves to be of particular interest for the enrichment of this memory repository and in particular for the study and promotion of architecture in general, CA will initiate all the legal procedures necessary for the realization of the donation.

The Archive is available to contribute to the loan of documents to external
entities and exhibitions, as well as to collaborate as a co-author in the planning,
organization and setting up of exhibitions in various cultural spaces at national
and international level. All works can be loaned, unless they present fragile physical
conditions, which do not allow them to leave CA’s facilities or if there are other
constraints resulting from the incorporation contract.
