Casa da Arquitectura took part in ICAM22, which was held at M+ in Hong Kong from 2 to 6 December, the organisation's first conference to be held on the Asian continent.

Today, in collaboration with BPI, the ‘la Caixa’ Foundation is launching its free online video content platform specialising in culture and science, CaixaForum+, which also includes content from Casa da Arquitectura. 

The catalogue ‘Constructed Geographies: Paulo Mendes da Rocha’ will be presented at MoMA in New York on November 6, at a event organised by the Museum of Modern Art's Department of Architecture and Design.

The certified training ‘Architecture: Interdisciplinary Educational Tool’ will take place on 4 October from 3pm to 6pm, aimed at teachers from all areas and levels of education. The aim of this training is to sensitise the teaching community to the possibility of using architecture as an educational tool to explore the contents of various subjects.

Casa da Arquitectura, through its Education Service, is holding an Open Drawing Class on Saturday 21 September at 3pm, aimed at anyone interested in drawing, with or without experience.

A total of 27 applications were submitted to the call for 10 PhD research grants launched by Casa da Arquitectura with the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT).

‘Por Portas e Janelas’ (Through Doors and Windows) is the name of a radio programme that for 12 weeks will offer, at the rate of one programme a week, conversations and content around various themes linked to architecture that “map disciplinary practice and project new winds”. Every week, an institution, a programme.

On 13 July, the Casa da Arquitectura Education Service took part in the Matosinhos Climate Festival with the Constrói Workshop, an activity that brought together participants of all ages in a large-scale collective construction.

The Sentir a Arquitectura project, which aimed to design a tactile model of the Casa da Arquitectura building, was inaugurated with a special tour led by Casa da Arquitectura's executive director, Nuno Sampaio, during Open House Porto for a group of blind and low-vision visitors.

Casa da Arquitectura - Centro Português de Arquitectura and the Marques da Silva Foundation signed a cooperation protocol yesterday between the two entities in the field of research, appreciation and dissemination of architecture and architects, with the aim of promoting the decisive role of architecture in the development of society and its contribution to people's well-being.

 The Results Presentation of the Sustainable Landscape and Architecture Programme (PPAS) will take place at Casa da Arquitectura on May 28 at 2pm. Launched in November 2023, the programme is part of the National Architecture and Landscape Policy and in the 2023/24 biennium focused on the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education with a set of actions whose results will now be presented.

 Casa da Arquitectura is inviting applications for 10 PhD Research Scholarships in the field of Architecture, Urbanism and Territory, with a special focus on the collections of Casa da Arquitectura - Centro Português de Arquitectura and content related to the history of architecture, building technology, sustainability and energy saving, under the FCT Research Scholarship Regulations (RBI) and the Research Scholarship Holder Statute (EBI).

Casa da Arquitectura and Secil have signed a four-year patronage contract. Secil is a partner of Casa da Arquitectura in supporting the activities carried out by the institution and a patron for the study and research of various areas of knowledge surrounding architecture.

The General Assembly of Casa da Arquitectura Association will be held on 15 March at 10am.

Casa da Arquitectura is one of the 23 entities that are part of the Renewable Energy Community (CER), LIPOR's new and innovative initiative for the recovery of waste and sharing of the electricity produced, which was presented on 11 January at a ceremony held at the Maia Energy Recovery Plant.
