Casa da Arquitectura hosts ‘Meet the Spec’, an event promoting dialogue between architecture and industry

 The event offers a forum for discussion where intention, material and form intersect, seeking to stimulate the exchange of ideas and inspire new approaches to the development of architectural projects and construction solutions.

The panel of guest speakers brings together four professionals with significant experience in architecture and the construction sector. Among the participants is Joana Peres, a leading figure in Healthcare Architecture and one of the key figures in this field at the Saraiva + Associados studio. Also taking part is Luís Cabral Menezes, a professional with extensive international experience in construction and the property sector, with a focus on the adoption of modular and prefabricated construction solutions.

The discussion will also feature Margarida Quintã, founding partner of the URSA studio and a leading voice in contemporary Portuguese architecture, and Rodrigo Vilas-Boas, founder and architect at OODA, recognised for his leadership in large-scale projects and his interest in innovation processes in architecture.

Meet the Spec aims to strengthen the links between the various players in the sector, bringing together professionals from the fields of Architecture, Construction and Property Development to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration between industry and architectural practice.
