Casa da Arquitectura joins route dedicated to contemporary art and architecture
Casa da Arquitectura (CA), CCDR-Norte and the Porto and North Regional Tourism Authority today formalised an Interinstitutional Cooperation Protocol with the aim of strengthening collaboration between the architecture and tourism sectors in the region.
The ‘Contemporary Art and Architecture in the North’ route is part of a wider strategy to organise, manage and promote regional tourist routes for Cultural Heritage, Contemporary Art and Architecture, known as ‘Northern Routes’, with a view to developing cultural tourism and enhancing cultural heritage in the northern region.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Matosinhos, Luísa Salgueiro; the President of CCDR-N, António Cunha; the President of Turismo do Porto e Norte, Luís Pedro Martins; and Joaquim Mendes Pinto and Nuno Sampaio, representing CA's Executive Committee.
