Casa da Arquitectura partner of a documentary about Fernando Guerra

Casa da Arquitectura is a strategic partner of this project and responsible for its première in Porto. Fernando Guerra is one of the most recognized architecture photographers that, despite the notoriety, has been keeping himself away from interviews and conferences. The documentary “O Fotógrafo Voador” from Building Pictures is the opportunity to get to know his story, his passions and his look over the architecture world.
Sara Nunes is the director of the documentary that started to follow the photographer’s work in Brazil and Dubai and interviewed the Brazilian architects Isay Weinfeld, Arthur Casas and Márcio Kogan and, in the United Arab Emirates, the X-Architects.
For the documentary title, Nunes was inspired by Siza Vieira’s dedication to Fernando Guerra, when he received the Valmor Prize.
The documentary will have its national premiere at Arquitecturas Film Festival that will happen in June, at Cinema São Jorge, in Lisbon. The opening in Porto will be defined and organized by Casa da Arquitectura, with date to announce.
