Paulo Mendes da Rocha exhibition catalogue presented at MoMA
‘Constructed Geographies: A Conversation on Paulo Mendes da Rocha’ is the name of the conversation that will bring together the exhibition's co-curator and assistant professor at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania, Vanessa Grossman, Guy Nordenson, structural engineer and professor at Princeton University's School of Architecture, and Esther da Costa Meyer, retired professor of the History of Modern Architecture at Princeton University.
The conversation is moderated by Martino Stierli, Chief Curator of Architecture and Design at Philip Johnson.
Architect Nuno Sampaio, executive director of Casa da Arquitectura, will open the session.
Published by Casa da Arquitectura with Jean-Louis Cohen and Vanessa Grossman as editors, the catalogue is the result of the exhibition of the same name that was on show at Casa da Arquitectura from May 2023 to September 2024 and is considered ‘an essential text on a significant figure in global modernism’.
