Screening of The Albanian Calls at the Álvaro Siza Wing

Currently presented at the Albanian Pavilion of the 2025 Venice Biennale, The Albanian Calls is a video-essay that explores the role of architecture in shaping Albania’s contemporary identity, while also addressing the challenges of architectural practice in an international context.

The film unfolds through a continuous digital conversation that brings together more than thirty architects, interwoven with archival footage documenting the country’s transformations over recent decades.

With this screening, Casa da Arquitectura reaffirms its commitment to presenting works that combine research, practice, and critical reflection within the field of architecture.
