Kadu Tomita – Between earth and sky: national identity in the Brazilian Pavilions (1939 and 1970)

Leonor Reis – Industrial construction: the experience of Mies van der Rohe in the 1950s

Mahdi Alizadeh – Eduardo Souto de Moura and Italian architectural culture (1981-2008)

Marília Rezende – The metamorphoses of Paulo Mendes da Rocha's modern architecture in Goiânia

Nicola D’Addario – From analogue to immersive archives: Souto de Moura's unbuilt work

The provenance of the selected candidates reflects the international diversity of the programme, with five researchers from Brazil, three from Portugal, one from Iran and one from Italy.

The 2025 Fellowships reinforce Casa da Arquitectura's commitment to promoting research, criticism and reflection in the field of contemporary architecture, fostering international dialogue and the appreciation of different cultural perspectives.
