More than 7 000 participated in the activities of Casa da Arquitectura's second anniversary

The concert “Jazz para Souto de Moura” of the Matosinhos Jazz Orchestra, the exhibition Souto de Moura – Memory, Projects, Works, the debate "Construction is a concept” between the two Pritzker Souto de Moura and Rafael Moneo, were the big attractions of the festivity's weekend.
Animation activities in the city block stood out as well, such as performances, an installation and different children and family activities. Around 400 people participated in the initiative outside of the city block, in particular the visits to the ´´Alvaro Siza's itinerary, Casa de Chá da Boa Nova, Piscina da Quinta da Conceição and Casa Roberto Ivens, where the exhibition Siza Antes do Siza. Álvaro Siza L´Opera Prima was installed.
This weekend was also marked by the assignment of Casa da Arquitectura's Honorary Associated Partnership to Eduardo Souto de Moura, that now is part of the group of Paulo Mendes da Rocha and the donors of Brazil as Casa's Ambassadors.
