Monolito magazine launches double issue dedicated to Paulo Mendes da Rocha's houses

The launch will take place at Lumini (Alameda Gabriel Monteiro da Silva, 1441, São Paulo - SP).

The double issue of the magazine has 304 pages, is bilingual (PT/EN) and illustrated with images from the collection donated by Paulo Mendes da Rocha on behalf of Casa da Arquitectura. The magazine will be on exclusive pre-sale in the Casa Shop.

The result of the collaboration with Casa da Arquitectura, the "Paulo Mendes da Rocha: houses" edition features 71 single-family home projects, from preliminary studies to built works, created between 1955 and 2011.

More than half of the projects are unpublished, and seven have more than one version. Two-thirds of the projects relate to urban housing, but there are also beach and country houses. The works featured are mainly located in Brazil, but there are also proposals for Portugal, France, Italy and Peru.

The built works were photographed by Leonardo Finotti and the texts were written by Ruth Verde Zein, Nuno Sampaio and Fernando Serapião.
