Seminar “Wood Architecture: Sustainable Innovation”

 The meeting will feature a presentation by Luís Rebelo de Andrade, founder of RARebelo de Andrade, on the ‘Creation of the Council for Construction with Wood and Derivatives (CMD)’. This will be followed by a panel discussion on “Innovation, Certification and Construction”, bringing together João Veloso (Portilame), Paula Salazar (PEFC Portugal) and Sofia Knapic (SerQ). The programme also includes a presentation of the SRU’s rent-controlled housing project in Marvila by architect Inês Lobo.

This seminar, organised in the context of the launch of PNAM'25 and the creation of the new Wood and Wood Products Construction Council, will be an opportunity to discuss the relevance of the use of wood and its derivatives in architecture, to meet leading authors and learn about their experiences, and to participate in the launch of a new edition of PNAM.
