Open House Porto 2026 Volunteering: call for applications open for the 11th edition
Open House Porto is a unique celebration of built heritage and architectural culture, and the contribution of volunteers is essential to the success of each edition.
We are looking for volunteers aged 16 and over, with no maximum age limit, who are interested in architecture, heritage and the history of the cities included in the itinerary. We value enthusiasm, a sense of responsibility and a willingness to interact with the public.
After a 10th edition that brought together more than 350 volunteers, we hope to once again count on an extraordinary group, without whom this event would not be possible.

What are we looking for?
To build a team that, during the weekend of the event, will offer an informed and enthusiastic view of the Open House Porto 2026 itinerary, contributing decisively to the experience of a wider audience.
What tasks?
Reception, welcoming and informing the public; Accompanying guided tours by specialists; Coordinating groups of volunteers by geographical area; Supporting the organisation and general production of the event.
What do we offer?
The opportunity to gain experience at an international event; Sharing and enjoying privileged knowledge; Training on the general functioning of the event; Certification of the duties performed through the issuance of a supporting document, thanking you for your collaboration and participation in the event; Civil liability insurance policy, in accordance with current legislation; T-shirt and badge for identification at the event.
