1st Act "A Shared Place"
On the 11th August 2017, at the Campinas neighbourhood, took place the opening of "A Shared Place" - a self-construction laboratory aimed to create a structure that will help the local community - with a lot of music and dance.
Over 20 students and architects from all over the world participated in the laboratory, and for two weeks they built three structures for the community: Bicho, Teatrinho and Fogo. Coordinated by architects Roberto Cremascoli, Nicolò Galeazzi and Ivo Poças Martins, “A Shared Place” was organized by Casa da Arquitectura with the support of Domus Social and Parish Council of Ramalde, integrated in the 1st Act of the inaugural programme, entitled Please Share! , curated by architect Roberto Cremascoli.
The place of implementation of “A Shared Place”, located between four housing blocks and used by residents especially during the festivities of São João, presented “paths designed” by residents, marks of time that were the starting point for the definition the programme and the implementation of three pieces of equipment.
