#1 Portugal, "another" Universlism
Accompanying the itinerancy of the exhibition “The Universalists” a parallel programme was presented at CA that focused on some of the contents of the exhibition: a conversation about this “other” universalism that characterizes Portuguese culture, based on the philosopher and essayist Eduardo Lourenço's thought; a debate involving different Portuguese architects about the methodological legacy transmitted and reinvented from the experience of the sight; the view of international criticism on architectural production in Portugal in the European context.
Session #1 dedicated to the theme "Portugal, "another" Universalism" was attended by Nuno Grande, Eduardo Lourenço [testimony], Alexandre Alves Costa and João Belo Rodeia.
This programme had a total of 10 sessions, involving more than 30 guests, and also included guided visits to the exhibition promoted by the CA's Educational Service, guided by the curator and other guests.
