3rd Act "Influence" - Debate Cycle
On the 20th of January 2018, under the theme Landscape, started the 3rd Act’s Conference Cycle of the Please Share! Programme entitled Influence and curated by architect Roberto Cremascoli.
Until March, this cycle promoted conversations around the themes of the City, the Press and online Platforms, with national and international guests from various quarters. All conferences took place at Casa da Arquitectura’s Exhibition Hall, always with free entrance.

In the opening conference the speakers were architect Camilo Rebelo, photographer Paulo Catrica and landscape architect João Nunes. The moderator was the geographer Álvaro Domingues.
According to the Executive Director of Casa da Arquitectura, Nuno Sampaio, the Please Share!, continuation of CA's inaugural programme, aimed at “activating different views on architecture and the city from other disciplines that relate to architecture”.
The debate “City and Cinema”, which took place on February 3, brought together the director Joaquim Sapinho and Ricardo Clara Couto - director, among others, of the documentary Ruy D´Athouguia – Um Moderno por descobrir. Architect Francisco Ferreira, professor at the School of Architecture at the University of Minho, where he teaches art and architecture movements, cities and cinema, also participated. He is the author of two fiction short films, Panorama (2013) and Anywhere (2014). The moderation was in charge of Luís Urbano, architect and professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, who is also the author of the short films Sizígia (2012), A Casa do Lado (2012) and Como se desenha uma casa (2014).
On the 3rd of March, the Press was on the table, in a debate with interventions by Valdemar Cruz, Isabel Lopes Gomes and Cândida Pinto, moderated by the architect Manuel Graça Dias.
The final meeting, on 17 March, covered online platforms and was attended by Lloyd Marcus Andresen, from Divisare, the largest library of contemporary architecture online. With more than 100,000 published projects, it is the largest online archive dedicated to contemporary architecture; Victor Delaqua, architect and Urbanist, author of Archdaily Brasil, the most visited architecture website in the world, and responsible for the publication of national and international projects, in addition to the “Cinema and Architecture”, “Art and Architecture” and “Publications” sessions. The moderation was in charge of Joanna Helm, Urbanist architect, editor, curator and producer of architectural events. For six years, she was chief editor and content director of ArchDaily Brasil, where she curated editorial publications and projects in Portuguese. She was General Producer of the XX Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism of Chile in 2017 and a judge in competitions in Brazil and Portugal
