Casa da Arquitectura honours Manuel Correia Fernandes as Honorary Associate
Manuel Correia Fernandes is the new Honorary Associate 2025 of Casa da Arquitectura, a distinction that celebrates his vast contribution to Portuguese architecture and his involvement with the institution, to which he has been a donor since 2022.
The tribute will be formalised on Saturday, 22 November, during the celebrations of the 8th anniversary of Casa da Arquitectura.
With this recognition, the architect joins the select group of Honorary Members, which includes such notable names as Álvaro Siza, Eduardo Souto de Moura, Francesco Dal Co, Kenneth Frampton, Nuno Portas, Paulo Mendes da Rocha, and Rafael Moneo.
On the same day, Casa da Arquitectura will inaugurate the exhibition “Arquitetura Política Desenhada. About Manuel Correia Fernandes", which revisits his work and thinking. Curated and designed by Carlos Machado e Moura and Vítor Alves, this exhibition invites the public on a multifaceted journey through the career of an architect whose practice went far beyond the confines of the studio.
We invite everyone to participate in this day of tribute and discovery.
