Lecture by Kenneth Frampton on Mendes da Rocha
Casa's 6th anniversary
Architect, critic and historian Kenneth Frampton will give a lecture on "Mendes da Rocha: Territorial Architect, 1958-2008" on Saturday 18th November, 5pm, at the Álvaro Siza Space, as part of the Parallel Programme of the exhibition dedicated to the Brazilian Pritzker currently on show at the Casa da Arquitectura.
The British architect will also be awarded the title of Honorary Associate of Casa da Arquitectura at a ceremony that will take place from 3.30pm in the Álvaro Siza Space.
Kenneth Frampton is considered one of the most renowned historians of contemporary architecture and has played an important role in publicising Portuguese architecture.
