Debate Flashback 2022 - 1977

In the opening session of the programme that accompanied the exhibition Flaskback / Carrilho da Graça, there was a debate with João Luís Carrilho da Graça and his contemporaries Álvaro Siza, Gonçalo Byrne and Manuel Aires Mateus, authors of works he admires so much and who closely followed his professional path.

This dialogue, based on the general questions that the participants faced throughout their careers, allowed an approximation to the period covered by this exhibition, between 1977 and 2022, contributing, from the multiple points of view presented, to the understanding of the meaning of the contents of this exhibition and, consequently, to the revelation of the work of Carrilho da Graça.
