Exhibition ManifestHabitação: houses in debate on 6th June
From April 4 to June 13, the Parallel Programme of the ManifestHabitação exhibition will take place at the former Vasco da Gama Factory in Matosinhos until June 30. The programme includes a series of five talks on various topics related to housing issues and is produced by Matosinhos City Council and Matosinhos Habit in partnership with Casa da Arquitectura.
Curated by João Paulo Rapagão, who is also curator of the exhibition, the cycle of five talks will cover the following themes:

The ManifestHabitação exhibition aims to mark 30 years since the implementation of the Special Rehousing Programme (PER) and 50 years since 25 April and the Right to Housing enshrined in the 1976 Portuguese Constitution.
Comprising six modules on topics such as the "Right to Housing in Matosinhos", "Building a Neighbourhood is Building a City", "The house: a desire to preserve and conserve", "Videos: Lives and Testimonies" to "Local Housing Strategy: 2020-2030" and finally "On the road to 25 April 2074", this is also an exhibition of Links, Lives, Emancipation, Achievements and Community with a gallery of ten real portraits of protagonists who generously share stories and memories, expectations and hopes.
The ManifestHabitação exhibition will be on show at the Antiga Fábrica Vasco da Gama, at Avenida Menéres, 627, in Matosinhos until 30 June at the following times: Tuesday: 14h00-18h00 and Wednesday to Sunday: 10h00-18h00.
