There will be two days of visits, on the weekend of 2 and 3 of July, adapted to the recommendations that the competent authorities determine on the date of the event for the prevention of Covid-19, thus ensuring the safety of the public and all the people involved in the organization.
The selection of spaces for this 7th edition is the responsibility of the curators, architect Graça Correia and historian Joel Cleto.
According to the curators, Open House Porto 2022 “will be presented under the design of hope that will lead us to leave home and rediscover the city as a 'collective house' and the places that, being public and infrastructural, allow each city to function as (our) Open House – a true Open House whether in the city of Porto, Gaia, Matosinhos or Maia.”
Open House Porto is organized and produced by Casa da Arquitectura and with the Strategic Partnership of the Municipalities of Maia, Matosinhos, Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
In this edition, we will visit indoor and outdoor spaces again, in the company of specialists and volunteers, in a route that will cover a wide range of spaces in the four Open House Porto cities.
All visits are as usual free of charge.
The itinerary is also accompanied by the Kaleidoscope and Plus Programmes, which propose a set of open activities aimed at all audiences, all free.
