Between February and July 2024, Porto City Council and Casa da Arquitectura have teamed up to organise the "Porto de Arquitetura" event, a series of free architectural visits open to the public upon prior registration, which will take place in a series of eight buildings in the city that are representative of the latest contemporary architecture developed here.

Each visit is accompanied by a talk with the architects and other personalities linked to the spaces, which will give an insider's view of the process of designing, building and restoring the works.
These buildings represent some of the most important recent interventions in the city, from housing to infrastructure, including buildings for education, culture, tourism and municipal services.
All of them are urban references that, revealed and unveiled in this way, are intended to inspire future quality interventions and highlight the benchmark of demand we want for the city we inhabit.

Over the course of eight months, from February to July, these will be the buildings open to visitors as part of the "Porto de Arquitectura" cycle. All the visits are guided by the architects who created the works and always start at 16:00. At the end of each visit, there will be a talk with a number of personalities linked to the works, which will be announced shortly.
