Porto de Arquitetura returns for its second edition with guided tours of six buildings and an international conference

Porto City Council and Casa da Arquitectura are teaming up once again to develop the second edition of the Porto de Arquitetura initiative, which includes six architectural visits and an international conference
between March and July 2025. The date and speaker for the latter event will be announced shortly. As in previous years, all the events on the programme are free and open to the public upon prior registration. Registration opens next week.
The selection for this new programme of guided tours includes a group of buildings in the city that are intended to be as representative as possible of the recent transformations in Porto's urban fabric.
The set of six architectural works chosen, combined with two interventions in the public space by the municipality, illustrates the diversity of scales, typologies, programmes and approaches to intervention in consolidated areas or areas in the process of consolidation. As a common denominator, all these interventions are intended to serve as a reference for future developments in the areas where they are located.
