Visit to Boa Nova Tea House

On Saturday 21 September, at 9.30am, there will be a guided tour of the Boa Nova Tea House. Book your place here.
Álvaro Siza was 25 when Fernando Távora commissioned him to design the Boa Nova Tea House, which the studio had won in a competition. Even today, the presence of that building embedded in the rocks exerts an enormous fascination on visitors and lovers of architecture. An essential part of understanding the architecture of the first Portuguese Pritzker, the Tea House, now a National Monument, is home to the gastronomic project of chef Rui Paula, twice awarded a Michelin star.
Don't miss the opportunity to get to know the space in depth under the guidance of a Casa da Arquitectura expert. Sign up for the visit on Saturday 21 September at 9:30, here.
