The exhibition "Constructed Geographies: Paulo Mendes da Rocha" opened to the public on 26 May 2023. Curated by Jean-Louis Cohen and Vanessa Grossman, it has exhibition project by Eduardo Souto de Moura and Nuno Graça Moura.

Spanning seven decades of activity, the immense work of Paulo Mendes da Rocha is revealed in the exhibition "Built Geographies: Paulo Mendes da Rocha" with an unprecedented breadth drawn from the immense collection delivered to the Casa da Arquitectura.

On display in the exhibition hall of the Casa da Arquitectura, the exhibition does more than follow the unidirectional thread of his biography, or focus on the typologies of his work: the structure of the exhibition will be based on the expanding geographies of the buildings and projects designed by Paulo Mendes da Rocha with his partners and colleagues between the 1960s and 2010.

"Constructed Geographies: Paulo Mendes da Rocha" opens to the public accompanied by the "Paulo" Exhibition at the Galeria da Casa. With the exhibitions, a programme of activities is launched curated by architect Nuno Sampaio, CA's Executive Director and Commissioner-General, and architect Catherine Otondo, responsible for the organisation of the Paulo Mendes da Rocha collection.
