Birthday parties at Casa da Arquitetura are moments of exploration, imagination and fantasy.
The birthday child is our guest of honor to embark on a unique experience of challenges, games, construction and lots of fun!

Drawing with the body
This activity aims to provide a moment of leisure, discovery, play and exploration through drawing with the body on large format paper. We propose new ways of looking at space and challenge participants to experiment and create collectively. With performance art practices, in this activity we explore space through drawing, which has our body in movement as its main instrument!
Building with air
If there is something simple and wonderful, it is soap bubbles! Those fragile structures that defy the laws of gravity and that disappear without a trace in the blink of an eye have been studied and applied in architecture. In this workshop we will discover various architectural principles and hidden geometries while building with air!
Painting with light
We continue the exploration of the built space, this time through light! We will mark projected reflections, paint scenes with glow-in-the-dark paints and become imagined characters celebrating the birthday child. An experience not to be missed!

Schedule
Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm
Duration 2h30
(30 minutes reserved for birthday snack)
Target Audience
Groups of children between 3 and 12 years old.
Minimum of 10 and maximum of 24 participants.
Prices and Payments
16€ per participant
Snack not included.
Snacks are provided by the adults responsible for the group.
Only party props that do not litter the space are permitted.
Confirmation of booking involves payment of 160€ (minimum number of participants) within five working days after confirming the date, time and selection of the Activity/s. The remaining amount is paid on the day of the event, at the Casa da Arquitetura box office, or by bank transfer (IBAN: PT50 0010 0000 4192 0680 0017 5), indicating the day of the party and the name of the birthday person. The receipt must be sent to [email protected], together with the address and NIF for billing purposes. Failure to pay within the indicated period will result in cancellation of the appointment.
Follow-up
1.Parties are always accompanied by two monitors who are responsible for the dynamics and carrying out of the activities previously selected by the responsible adults.
2. Two adults who have been nominated as responsible for the birthday party must accompany the group during the party.
3. All children aged 6 and under must have a responsible adult accompanying the party.
4. The two adults responsible for the birthday party must arrive 30 minutes before the time to welcome guests at the Casa da Arquitetura box office.
5. Guests must wait at the box office for the party to start
6. Adults responsible for the invited children will be able to visit the exhibitions on display at the Casa da Arquitectura Gallery for free during the activity.
Appointments
The first contact to request a date and time reservation for the birthday party must be made up to 12 days before the birthday, by filling out the form.
Confirmation of the activity and the number of participants must be made up to 72 hours before the birthday.
Cancellation
If the party is canceled less than 5 working days in advance, only half of the amount previously paid will be refunded.
Cancellations made more than 5 working days in advance will have a full refund of the deposit.
Lost Items
Casa da Arquitetura and its monitors are not responsible for the loss or misplacement of participants' personal objects, valuables or gifts.
