Easter Workshops 2024

 

In the second week, from April 1st to 5th, we will carry out different sensory exercises to observe the built space, we will discover the magic of building with air and we will draw with light using different techniques.

 

During workshop extension times, we will play games and have free drawing and reading areas.

 

It will be two weeks full of discoveries and lots of fun!

 

 

25 -28 | MAR 10:00 - 12:30

We start Easter week with activities that challenge participants to experimentally discover the geometry of polyhedrons and geodesic constructions. We will create these structures at different scales, techniques and materials and we will built a space to play in!

 

25 -28 MAR | 14:30 - 17:00

We continue to celebrate Easter with a series of workshops where the creation of "eggstravagants" marks the beginning and end of this space week. Throughout these four workshops we will create patterns exploring different techniques with paints, paper cuts, light projections and much more!

 

To end the first week, we prepare a moment of sharing with families and go on an egg hunt in the Quarteirão!

 

1-5 APR | 10:00 - 12:30

In the second week of the Easter holidays we will do a series of workshops exploring built space and exercises to discover different forms of architectural representation. All of these experiences will have a very special touch: let's see how space can be shaped using air!

 

1-5 APR | 14:30 - 17:00

Let's be creative and develop teamwork skills while planning and building large structures with cardboard blocks. In the second part of the workshop, an extra dose of magic: we recreated the three-dimensional spaces built with plan drawings and games of light!

 

In the last session of the second week of workshops, we hold an exhibition and present the projects made by everyone in a moment of sharing with the participants' families.

Extensions:
The Casa da Arquitectura Educational Service team ensures the reception of children registered during extended hours, at no additional cost.
The reception of children registered for the morning workshops begins at 8:30 am, with the workshops taking place from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.
Children registered for the afternoon workshops are welcomed until 5:30 pm, with the workshops taking place from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
All-day reception for registered children takes place from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.

Meals:
Participants can bring lunch from home or add lunch service for €6/day.
We recommend that participants bring a snack for the morning break and another for the afternoon break.
