Conditions of Reproduction and Transfer of Images
The Archive responds to requests for reproduction and transfer of images,
whether for research purposes, as well as for commercial purposes
and image use, in accordance with the document transfer policies in force.
- The images provided may only be used for the expressly authorized purpose.
Unauthorized use will be sanctioned under the law;
- If a second use of the image is needed, a new request must be made
to Casa da Arquitectura (CA) and a new cost will be charged;
- Any editing, alteration or manipulation of the digital documents
provided is forbidden;
- Of all works carried out in which documents provided by the CA appear, two
copies must be provided, free of charge;
- Images provided by CA for reproduction, illustration of works or publications,
must present the following elements in the description: reference code, author,
title and Casa da Arquitectura – Portuguese Centre for Architecture;
- In cases where CA is not the copyright holder, if the material is needed for publication,
permission must be obtained from the copyright holder.
